The Omni already handles the hard part — xTool Studio and the built-in scanner work well right out of the box, so there's no calibration ritual here and no missing feature I'm selling you a fix for. What the scanner can't do is stop a jig from landing slightly rotated or slightly off-center when you swap it, or keep you from finding one sitting crooked under the mat halfway through a run. Pairing It With a FatMat

Worth knowing before you order: my Jig Size FatMat is cut to the same footprint as my Omni jigs, so it drops into the alignment system just like a jig does and the alignment system stays on the bed. My full-size Standard FatMat covers the whole bed instead, so with that one the alignment system has to come off every time you print something flat. If you want to leave this on the bed permanently, the Jig Size mat is the one you want — and the bundle saves you $7.00 on the pair.
