I have used this Jig a couple of times now. It works well and is great for laser projectss not requiring a rotor. All products I have bought from Sam have been easy to use and produce excellent results.
I pretty much used to seeing jigs that I buy fit almost flawlessly in the application for which they designed. This particular J base plate doesn’t actually come together in the center with all four pieces. Two the pieces fit flawlessly where the points in the center meet perfectly and there’s no gap. Two of them do not and there’s a gap of 16th to 3/32 of an inch where the points don’t touch. Is this nitpicky? Yes. Does the jig still work for its intended purpose? Yes. So maybe it is nitpicky but when you pay what is charged for this jig I don’t think it’s unfair to expect it to be pretty much perfect.
